Spyder Fest Host Hotels

Is there a flat rate for all hotels?
I see some show a per night rate of around $79 dollars.
Holiday Inn Express says their rate is $88. Not a big difference, but I though when Spyder Fest was booked the hotels all agreed to a set price.
Am I thinking wrong??

No. I called Lamplighter and Best Western and they're $5 apart. I chose BW because it was all ground level and I could park my Spyder right outside my room. Lamplighter couldn't let me choose a room on the parking lot and said the room assignment doesn't happen until you check in.

FYI, the Days inn isn't a host hotel but they have really good rates and MurphyBrown and others will be staying there. It's also really handy to the fairgrounds and the host hotels.
