• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"Doctor's Orders"; :gaah: Nothing can make us deny ourselves the simplest pleasures in life quicker! For what might be about a week's worth of indiscretion; the damage that you might do could probably be undone by some careful diet-watching once you're back home again. (But of course; I am NOT a Doctor! :opps:) Double-up on the veggies, park the bike a couple of hotel's worth of parking lots away, DON'T order the deep-fried, double-beef, bacon cheeseburgers, and your dietician will never be the wiser... ;)

As an addendum to my basic lack of wisdom regarding food intake; There's no fun to living, if you spend it being afraid of dying... Type I diabetic for over 48 years now... I know all about diets and denials...

I wish at the BBQs they would have an option for those who don't eat beef for those who don't or shouldn't eat beef. Maybe the hotdogs could be something other then beef. Last year we didn't eat any of the BBQs because they were all beef or at least when I ask they said they didn't know for sure. I know you can't please everyone but most would not no the difference if the hotdogs were not beef.

i would'nt say that know one would be the wiser about beef dog over mixed.sorry to dissapoint you on that that line but as a young boy growing -up all we were ever given was pork/chicken/beef dogs after years of comsuming i can tell a taste difference in the dog.i usally only buy oscar myer beef dogs, hebrew national, nathans.thats about it. unless i'm at a party and i didn't buy or cook i'll eat whats being served but limit myself to one and walk away eat later somewhere else.but i agree if you must eat heathy maybe ask the person in charge if they could get a 50/50 mix??i think that would be a great compromise.

So that's THREE of us heading toward Branson!  http://m.dennys.com/en/menu/item/1363 Let's see...

BMWMOA Rally @ State Fair Groundz last year they had ribeye or pork chop sammitches to die for! They sure showed this Texan!

Good Luck on your food DELIemas. A nice problem to have for sure. Ask me how I know so much about almost every Alaska road house. :2thumbs:

I'm not sure if a beef hotdog is considered red meat.

I think, concerning hot dogs, it doesn't matter what kind of critter it came from. They're loaded with fat and preservatives. :duh: Not that I don't eat them, though. But only at picnics or outside venues!

Permission granted for anyone who wishes to consume an extra portion in my place. I will make sure the calories--if any--will transfer to me.

Soooo.... if you step out of the kitchen into the back yard for a quick bite; is that ethical? :roflblack:

Of course, it's "ethical," though not, perhaps, to the critter involved. :bdh: (Dead horse is for illustration purposes only!)

I am just never "wanting" hot dogs for dinner, but at outdoor events, I see and smell them being cooked and they just seem more appetizing!:bbq:
