Nah. I am pretty sure the 998s were RTs and they were pulling 622 trailers...:joke::joke::joke:

Now all that we need; are this year's pictures and results!

(I admit to being more than a bit curious about how the triple fared this year... It reminds of 1993; Arctic Cat was unveiling it's 900cc ThunderCat at the Drag Races up in Old Forge...
Everybdoy was "itchy; waiting to see how that big Triple would run! Finally; they brought it to the line...
81 mph in the quarter!! Folks were going Crazy! One guy screamed, "I put down a deposit on THAT?!?"
Then they put all THREE plugwires in place; and it ran 107 mph...)

I just talked to MO Lee. He said Yazz (Joy) won the women's RS/GS class.

And some of the times were:
The RT 1330s were running low 15s
The 998s in the RS class were running 13s and some low 14s.


But I didn't get an indication if the RT 998s were running faster or slower than the 1330.

Also, I don't know who won any of the other classes. Sorry! I tried. :dontknow:


Oh and as expected, Doc on the GG beat Len on a 1330. But I hear that some Wing 2 wheelers did beat the GG. And maybe even a Spyder (assume an RS class) beat the GG which is surprising. But I'm not sure of that one...

Maybe the reason for not so many pictures at the races this year was because it was overcast, breezier and colder than last year.

Lots of people doing the test and tune, but not as many people as last year entering the races. Think the most enteries were in the Ladies Class and there were eight of us.

Len did the right thing by having the bonfire at the races to warm everyone up. :clap:
