Thanks MoLee, We did have some fun got alot of great stories to tell and share, Seth0 and doc......you guys were LOUD!!!!! loved it! the drag racing was great......I mean whats an event with out some competion! Safe travels to all on there way back home and thank you all for your support!!!!:clap:All I can say is yesterday went great, don't think anyone failed to have a smile on their face. Don't know if anyone ever managed to get a count on the bikes, several attempted but Spyders were everywhere and constantly moving around. This morning breakfast is planned and then the sad departures. Gene and the whole Cowtown crew deserve a big round of applause. :clap::clap:
One of my proudest moments, was standing there on satuday night at the war memorial monument. With 7 of our spyder gang vets standing in its shadow. Gene, MoLee, xpescon, Jim, G-man, nine fingers, and Jeff Cambell.........the national anthem was sang, these men of honor stood before me in the night air the names of the proud and fallen engraved in stone behind them. A prouder moment i can not recall. If there was a dry eye in the crowd i didn't see it, and it was not mine. Glad i wasn't asked to say anything, because the words i did not, and still don't have, only tears and extreme Pride...........in our country and these men. It was my honor to witness this event.
