Spyderfest 2020

While at the Maggie Valley, NC Spyder event I was told by a vendor there that there was not going to be a 2020 Spyderfest. This person went on to say that attendance had been down the last few years and that people were complaining about the distance between the Pit Bull dealerships and that the "The Rock" was too far away from everything. We didn't go this year due to the weather guessers calling for rain 4 out of the 5 days we had planned on coming up there. Anyone heard any of these rumors and wish to chime in or set the record straight?

I was there …. and Yes SpyderFest ( as we knew it ) will not be repeated as in the past. …. Too many reasons to type, as to Why ?? … They said there will be something similar for 2020, but it will be a different format from past events..... True. SpyderFest, as we know it, is done. But I don't think it had anything to do with distances between Points of Interest.

everything you heard is 100% correct. I've been there 5 or 6 times and do not understand why they split the venue??? there was a lot of disappointed people this last year.

No SpyderFest for 2020.

Check out the Spyder Events at the top of the page. Lot's of new and interesting stuff to go to. There is a lot more to choose from now, IMO. And...stuff is being added.

i just purchased my 3rd SPYD3R, and the dealer asked me if i could help him find info on sponsoring a 2020 MAGGIE VALLEY event.... so hold on tite, this may come to fruition...
