This is Patti McBride, one of the MoGang members, and I am looking forward to taking care of the group baskets for Spyderfest 2015.:clap: I can't believe it will soon be here. I can't wait to see the amazing baskets that are put together for this event. We are asking that groups put together baskets that will be raffled off to benefit a local charity. The charity will be announced soon. I know most of you will be on your bikes so I would like to offer that you can mail the baskets and or items to me and I can transport the baskets to Spyderfest for you. Hi Patti. We did not see the baskets in 2014 so are wondering what all was in the baskets?? what kind of value, etc.?? how big?? just wondering as we may be able to put one together from Huskerland (Nebraska). thanks.

Thanks for starting this post, Patti! Last year's baskets were awesome & I'm really looking forward to Spyderfest 2015. I know they will be even better next year. I love that all the different spyder groups try to outdo one another & all the money raised goes to a worthwhile charity.

Sky is the limit on the baskets. Will have to check with Pitbull, but the last couple of years they have shipped the baskets to where ever for a small fee. (That I don't think covered the cost.)
We have had things from gift certificates, jams, jellies, ham, liquor, wine, cash, handmade items, accessories for the Spyder. If you think you would like it I am sure that someone else will.

Remember to bring your address labels, you know the ones you get free in the mail..... That way you don't have to write you name and everything on there, you can just put a label on the back!!!!'

Basket Contents

Many have asked what to include in the baskets. As stated earlier the skies the limit. We had items anywhere from stuff for the bykes, gift cards, note pads, handmade themed items from the states groups are from, grilling items etc... Be creative, it is really cool to get a themed item from the area where the groups are from. Another idea is put together a basket from the host hotel that you are staying at. Hope this helps. Again if you can't hand carry to SpyderFest, you can mail it to my house and I will hand carry it. I've had a couple items already that is being sent to my house. Please message me if you are sending anything so that I can watch for it. Can't wait to see al of the neat things!:yes:

You will put them on the tickets you purchase for the baskets and then drop in the box (can or whatever) for the drawings. Makes it easier than trying to write your name on all of the tickets you purchase.:clap:

Thank you Linda. I have been to several benefits and when you purchase raffle tickets it is just easier to stick a label, I get writers cramp real easy!! If you don't have any they are real easy to make. All the Wal-Marts have return address labels that you can print yourself.

As in the past the tickets will be drawn on Saturday night.

Let's try to make this bigger and better than last year.

I know that several of the states didn't put their basket together till they got to SpyderFest, individuals purchased items and each brought with them and put together there. Also there will be people with "cages" at each of the hotels and we will help get them to Vendor Village.
