• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've been asked a number of times since returning home, how many Spyder owners showed up for the rally. So, does anyone know what the total was? :dontknow:

A lot..!!

wasn't able to go so couldn't count them but there were 1200 registered some one may have a final count but have not seen one..!!

We couldn't make it this year but were registered. Thought we were supposed to have our packets sent to us if we didn't show. They must know we didn't come....do I have to notify someone? If so any suggestions?

I hung around at PitBull's on Wednesday morning; they had a lot of folks there who were registering for the first time; others were picking up their packets.
Over 1200? This makes it the biggest party of the year; right?

Remember just a couple months ago Spyderfest opened the ryding season to us with a cold and wet welcome? There was actually only one good day during the whole event! It actually snowed in Spyderfestland the weekend following. Then the whiners came out and wanted it changed to May citing the weather. BTW the weather cleared up just as soon as you left the city limits it seems. Not really. Had to go to the next state. Then the next month came along and it was the start of tornado season. And we all heard about the devastating effects that had in the region. Today it will be mostly sunny, near 100, and humid with more rain tonight. I wonder how many would have come to a Mayfest or Junefest vs the Aprilfest? Thank you Rickylen and MoGang. My wife and I had a great time! Don't change a thing ... much.

Right. although the Owners Event did not get that high a number it still was a great showing and the BBQ at Lamonts was the tastiest and a lot of fun.

I had to back out for medical reasons a couple weeks before the event. I should have been one the first to register. I sent a e mail and was told, a packet would be mailed. A while after the event I emailed a person (not sure where they fit in event) and they said, a packet would be sent. I have received nothing either.
I am thinking now, it was a donation to a event, I wanted to go to, but could not. I will have to wait and see what the medics say for next year. I was not able to make the owners event either this year, but did not register.
Ride safe and have fun.
