• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderfest 2013 recap

After looking at all 516 pictures I can certainly tell I missed out on a lot of fun.....I am so looking forward to attending my first Spyderfest in 2014. My thanks goes out to everyone who posted pictures and shared your adventures, it sure helped me feel like I was there. :2thumbs:

I can't wait for next year!

(Note: Hopefully one of these events: Spyderfest or KofC's TN State Convention, will end up moving at some point... in the meantime, I will do what I did this year... stay as long as I can in Spyderfest and then head back to TN until a) As I said one of the event's date changes or b) I have done my years as an KofC officer and step down as a State Delegate. I am planning to go to ALL Spyderfests possible!).

Selfishly, Erick, I kind of hope it works out this way again next year. I sure had a blast rooming with Leira after you had to leave for your Knights of Columbus meeting. :dg2:Although your GOS secretarial skills were missed! :roflblack:

Ok... only one more year then... after I that I stay the whole week!:roflblack:

Hopefully next year......

I'd really REALLY like to attend the 2014 SF.....It's a long way from the UK but hey,I like to travel and meet people
and this looks like a whole lotta laughs and fun! Here's hoping.....Many thanks to Lamont for the excellent pics.

it was a great event and a huge thanks to len at pitbull, lamont, ISCI, john from elka, baja ron, reggie from tricked LED and all the others that helped me out with the new spyder, it was crazy to have that many people help out and have a huge crowd at the fire night watch me get my new bike.

The drag racing is now a much more solid part of spyderfest, it was always there but was more of a fringe thing for the crazies and hooligans as a side show but after watching and talking to everyone at the strip I think it will be even more of a draw next year.

being the 4th one I have been too and it being a misadventure every time I am used to the crowds of people being in my unique situation but for others it is a adjustment, i know gary was stranged out at the amount of people that confused him with me just because he is also in a wheelchair but after bouncing ideas off each other with his wife lana and son dustin helping out a ton switching parts off the death machines, I am glad to have them meet and talk to billy , jeff, justin and darrel as ISCI about other stuff for us handicrapps to help us get out and ride more.

It is very hard to explain the awe of the people I meet and the things we do especially at this event, its similar to a family reunion but we don't have to show up we want to, and the craziness is there as well.

Ratt's off to len and the mo gang he did it again, the best thing about spyderfest is the people because, they are the people running it, I have a different perspective than most people in my situation and from where I sit I see things people do that are not for their benefit but for the groups or just to help the mo gang out with one or two things that just needs to get done. Others also just helping out other owners that needed advice, time or real help just doing it, regardless if they get along in real life or spyderlovers forum life.

The regret of spyderfest's success is that I can not spend enough time with all the people from all over the US I don't get to see all year, Len is work 20 hours a day (at least) , Lamont is above rock star status , and there are a massive list of others that are just too busy to go grab a bite to eat with and talk about everything and nothing at the same time, I am glad I got to eat with ron one night after he beat me at the drag night. Not having jim from IA and mickey not being there did suck, just small pieces missing but thats life.
