Spyderfest 2012?

Just wondering if anyone can tell me when, where? for next year, as I am seriously thinking about being there, will take a bit of planning from here in NZ but I am keen as.Any info would be appreciated.

The where is pretty easy since it is at Cuba, Mo each year.. The when still seems up in the air and I do not believe that Len from Cowtown USA has announced it yet.. Planning it with the detail that they did (extraordinary job) takes some time so I am sure dozens if not hundreds of variables have to be taken into account when deciding the dates.. We are all waiting anxiously since many are committed to attend and looking forward to it already.

It is definitely worth the trip from NZ. I've been looking forward to it since the minute this year's ended.

We have not been able to get the whole group together yet to confirm the dates, however I think most everyone is leaning towards the same time same place.

i hope that they take care or keep it in mind for the date and think about the schoolholidays in europe , i allready send it to don & bumblebee
i did it becorse a lot of europeun people want to come also, but they are theathers and can only come to the event at schoolholidays

so next year it will be again international :2thumbs: some belgium and frans spyderowners want to come and at the moment i put it also on the dutch spyderwebs.
as soon the date is there i want to make the reservation , i be there again and also the chocolat and mooooooore truffels:roflblack:hyea:

Dol, We are looking at weather history to ensure the best event ever. It would be helpful if you could tell us some of the schoolholidays around the end of April/beginning of May, we could at least look at them. So glad you are coming back. Remember to avoid that certain "CAR RENTAL" company :lecturef_smilie:

yepp riding 2 days into and 2 days back home in mostly full on rain sucked but the event was worth it... hopefully next year it will be dry ride into and back home :doorag:

I know it is a little early to be making this statement, but I think Brian and I will not be able to make Spyderfest next year. We are planning on going on a short term (10 days) mission trip to Guatamala in March 2012. That is just too close together to get time off most likely. I will not rule anything out at this point. I may have to just come for a long weekend, I've done that before and am pretty sure I could do it again. We will see.

When ever you start your planning make sure to include the Passport runs for next year. Those were a lot of fun. :clap:

OMG more Belgium chocolates/truffels....that alone is enough to bring folks to Spyderfest 2012...then add in the great folks and great events...yep, yep...sign up time...:thumbup:

Thanks for your input, We had a Spyder Homecoming in Taupo NZ early April and we had 48 Spyders and about 70 people and it was a great weekend, topped off by all 48 ryding around Lake Taupo (160kms or 100 miles) No traffic and virtually a continuous line of Spyders for the whole ryde. I can only imagine what Spyderfest would be like.
Certainly will be doing my best to make it.

I will bring that up in our first meeting. We do want to avoid Holidays!

We plan on coming again from far western Arizona. It is a long trip but a little better weather next year would be nice. Have Len and the Mogang check with the weatherman and see what it is going to be like a year from now.:roflblack:

:agree: Ryding was cold and wet coming down from Iowa, but nice going home, so I can't complain too much. The MO weather was :thumbup:

i hope that there are no tornado's and I really Hope that i will have a spyder at that time , I would love to buy a RT and let it stay in the states .Here i have the RS for riding , and its cheaper to buy one in the states than take it by flight
If someone sell his spyder for a cheep price i'm interest , I only need it for the spyderfests for the rest somebody can ride on it, no problem.

Dates will be comming soon, We know you all want to get hotels and vacation time once we set the date this year, we are holding fast to the dates, so you won't have to keep guess every year.
