• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just want to tell you thank you, thank you for doing all you are doing to make this a wonderful experience for all of us. For me this is a bucket list experience. 1st got Ms. Spyder a year ago...and I have had an incredible time enjoying ryding...now I have just completed planning the journey to Spyderfest..I arrive on 4/26 - so will have a couple days to get my self oriented and if you need help, please let me know. I am willing and able.

Lamont - Wayne and I - (SpyderDeb) will be attending the Spyderfest - wow - I've not been keeping up on the web - I've alot to go thru :gaah: We made reservation back in Nov at the Best Western - I'll start going thru the posts to see what I've missed

What's a HULIGAN??????

As I get more and MORE and MORE excited about attending Spyderfest..I now keep seeing this "HULIGAN" thingy mentioned. Is this a secret society where I will have to get my decoder ring polished up and ready to give the 'handshake'???? Or is Huligan open to normal Spyder folk? Ahhh let me know...I don't want to MISS A THING during Spyderfest!!!

I know this is probably a dumb question but did you tell the motel folks you called that you were here for Spyderfest. If you call and don't say anything they will tell you they are full. Don't supose you would like to camp it?? St James has a couple motels and they are about 10+/- miles from Cuba. There's a Days Inn and Suites 110 N Outer Rd St James(573-265-2900) The Economy Inn 102 North Outer Rd St James ( 573-265-3256). There are also a copple in Sullivan which is East of Cuba. A Super 8 601 N Service Rd (573-468-8076) And a Stanton Motel 2497 N Service Rd E(573-927-2120) Not sure how far away Sulivan is but think it's about the same distance to Cuba as St James. Give or take a mile. Hope this will help you. I think there is only one exit for Sullivan like St James. The north "service rd" is the North outer rd. If it's got an E then turn to the east, don't mean to imply you don't know that already it's just a dingy thing I do. But either way good luck and hope these #'s help.:welcome:

Hi there, just checked with motel 6 and super 8 in Cuba they both still have around 3 rooms each open. Just give them a call and talk with them they will hook you up. We want to try to keep you in town...... Way more fun. Also best western has 1 open also. Good luck I'm sure they won't last long!

Just snagged a room at motel 8. The front desk person told me there was only a room with two double beds left (NS) so I booked it. Then she called back within minutes and said she had a king size room available, would I like to change? In a New York minute. :D

For those interested, there is a room with two double bed available for dates April 29-May 1.

Now I need to register.
