• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SpyderAnn01's Big Adventure

While you're in LV take a look at St George UT. 2hrs away and much prettier country. Also, we need more Spyder ryders here so the local BRP dealer will be tempted to pick up the line.

Have a great trip.

Have a safe journey. You are hitting LV when it is a buyer's market for houses--so that part should not be too difficult.

If you have time, take a drive to Red Rock Park--about 50 miles from LV. The trip up to St. George, UT is spectacular--you should also drive through Zion National Park if you can.

The contrast from the brown rocks of NV to the red rocks of UT is something to behold. That is some very beautiful country around there with all the desert and rock formations.

Wishing you both the best of luck. I am sure you will find some Spyder friends also.

Haven't gotten on the road yet as we had to have our furnace repaired. I thought it would be a good idea to see if it worked before our buyers did their inspection and of course it didn't. $570 later and the repairman is done. It is really foggy here and it looks like we will hit rain for most of the morning today. What else is new! If it ain't raining I probably ain't riding. :yikes:

That's typical...just as we decided to sell (16 years ago) our dryer broke, the hot water heater broke, and our microwave! At least only the hot water heater needed to be replaced before we sold the place.

As for the rain...at least it is still that and not snow!!!! Have a safe trip.

How about some 12's.........
Do you have a set of 2011 RT shocks?

Now that you're getting rid of your Spyder there was no reason to stay here any longer. :roflblack:

:roflblack: Stan that is very funny! No one would pay to see him!

Joe still wants to work so the nomad life was overruled. I wish we had time to get to Aerostich but that won't happen so you'll just have to bring presents from there when you come to visit us in Las Vegas!

Ulflyer we are downsizing on the house size but we always have room for Spyderlovers. In fact if I hear that any of you come to Vegas and don't look me up I will be mad.

Downsize---- ??????

JoeandAnn
I am so glad your moving to Vegas----
as I recall you offered a room at your place in Michigan I'm sure it must still be good and transferable.
I can't wait to see my room in Vegas. Will you have an air mat for tanning when in the pool.
Any chance you can get free tickets to see some show girls.
Just so that I don't get in the way---let me know when everything is unloaded and unpacked.
Your best friend Gene

Didn't get as far as planned we're just east of St. Louis in a crappy motel no WiFi. Can't type on my phone so I'll try again tonight. Hope to be in Amarillo.

I join all others in offering my most sincere congratulations and hopes of good luck in your new endevors.

Let me the first one to welcome you to Las Vegas. I have been here 12 years and love it. The weather is great for riding all year, at least I do. I know you have friends here but if you need any help please let me know. Plus always looking for other spyder riders in the area.

Too tired to hook up computer. Great day for riding. Stopped at Cowtown to say hi to Len. We are just west of Oklahoma City for the night. Tomorrow Albuquerque or maybe a corner in Winslow, AZ

vegas baby!

Oh, we are so looking you up, if we get anywhere near vegas!!! Had planned on going for my b-day, but with all the weddings, not enough money.

Good luck, and send pics.

You'd better look us up. I'm looking forward to having all my Spyder friends visit.

Today had to cut the house hunting short don't know if I had bad food or what but I'm hoping tomorrow will be better.

I hate that I missed you when you rode through! :banghead: I would have loved to introduce you and your husband to a nice cup of coffee and some local hospitality. If you ever ride through again...:lecturef_smilie:...let me know and y'all will be well taken care of. :)

Best,

Ann, Teddy told me to tell you . . . . . . . .

That he (we) hope that you get feeling better, real soon. And don't forget, when househunting, Ted likes a nice yard (they have those in Vegas, right?) to play fetch in & stretch his legs :2thumbs: . . . just say'n ;)

We rode through your beautiful town on Saturday as the sun was going down. We were so blinded by the sun that it was actually enjoyable to ride along side of 18 wheelers because they blocked the sun. I'll give you a shout if we get back your way.

Well we went to bed Wednesday thinking that we had put in a pretty good offer on a house and that it would be accepted. Well that wasn't the way it worked out. Our offer was rejected on Thursday morning. We found another house that we were able to see before we flew out on Thursday and we are making an offer on it today. So keep your fingers crossed for us that it will be accepted. If it isn't I'm not sure what we will do. Our buyers are wanting to close as early as late next week and that ain't happening! We need to have a garage sale and get rid of a bunch of stuff. If anybody is looking for a nice Toro Zero Turn 50" mower or a snow blower let me know.
