• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Wraps

I was looking to wrap my 2011RT Limited just wondering what your opinions are. I'm leaning toward a full body wrap. Anyone have any issues or suggestions? Thanks.

I have wondered about that too. I think it is personal choice. For me, I don't want to cover up that much paint. The full wraps look real busy. I am leaning toward some detailing in the spring. Something original. Something that works for me. I say go with what makes you feel good.:joke:

:bowdown: I bow to Pete. Here's what he's done for me. I installed myself. Easy if you take your time. Good luck with your choice. If you don't have anything particular in mind, he's got lots of ideas & will work with you.

Sorry my avatar doesn't show the bike very well. Go to Album, Gallary, Page 25, "Best Flame Kit for RT" to see more pics. Good luck & ryde safe. Dick

The Missus did all of the installation on our RT... I just prepped the sites, cut them out, handed her what she needed before she had to ask, and cried!

I checked in to having one put on mine the shop that does them here said it would run me $730.00 and I could have it any color I wanted since I got my RTS used I didn't get a choice of colors.. He said he could work something up on the computer I could add to it or change it around all before it was printed out...

as you can see in my avatar this is a complete wrap i've won 2 (2nd places). power sports wrap talk to pete hes a great guy.

I think the wraps look cool, but have been hesitant because of another spyder rider experience. He said that there was alot of edge rolling, and had to be using a hot hair dryer to get it to lay back down on a frequent basis. Has anyone else had this problem?

Spyder Wraps or decals

Hi, I would be happy to help you if we can. Here is a link to some of our custom Spyder projects we have done for other Spyder owners.
We can keep your project as subtle or crazy as you want, it's up to you. We have a limited number of Spyder kits on our web site but much to choose from
in the link above or we can custom create something for you. We have also just added more pieces for our RT kit now offering up to 53 pre-cut pieces.
We have published DIY install videos for most of those pieces to help you apply them with confidence.

Please let us know if we can assist...

I've got 3 different wraps from Pete and have had zero problems...If somebody has to go back and use the heat to reseat the wrap I suspect that they didn't clean it with the alcohol provided with the wrap first or as thoroughly as they should have.

Yes, surface prep is very important & so is going over the film with heat once it has been applied. The heat helps the film take it's permanent bond to the surface that's to say that
the film being used is a re positionable air-release film. If it's a standard vinyl or just a decal film then the heat is not as important. You need to know what kind of vinyl you are
working with...

Hope this helps..
