• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder won't shift out of 2nd gear?

I just picked up my new spyder yesterday. I put on 25 miles yesterday and 75 today. On the way back today the bike wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear (se5). I pulled over and shut it down. Upon start up it was ok for a bit and then did it 2 more times on the way home. :( What is the deal and what should i do. I have to go back to the dealer next week anyway for a wheel upgrade. I hope this isn't a huge deal. I totally love the spyder!!! It was way more fun than I ever thought it would be.

Not much help but this is all I could think of in response to your delema. If you don't know it you have to listen to the very end to get the connection.

Thanks, I will check on the wires. :thumbup:I am going out tomorrow and will see if it does it again. In Minnesota we only get a few more good days! The ride today was totally awesome. My wife totally loved it.

Mine had the same issue before. It is an 09 SE5, and it ended up being a faulty Gear Positioning Sensor. The dealer replaced that and I have not had any problems since.

That song reminds some of us about how many suns have set in our lives. I had not heard it in many, many years. Thanks for the memories.
