• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder withdrawal II

I dropped my SM5 off for 3k oil change and I ask them to adjust the front and rear shocks. Also to adjust the aim on headlights (this is the 2nd time for headlight aiming). Got a call from service mgr. While trying to adjust the front shock. :lecturef_smilie:The adjuster broke and then split. Parts or order, but I won't be able to pick up the Spyder until a week from Friday. This is mainly due to my work schedule.

Now I know how Scotty feels.:yikes:

Ouch! I was without mine for 8 days; seemed like forever. Longest time without ryding was 10 days over the winter. Don't know how the Yankees stand it

Sorry to hear you will be sidelined. I'm sure that there are other shock adjusters that would work but who could know which ones are the right size:dontknow: I guess we are all learning one of the disadvantages of buying a vehicle made in another country. Stay cool :chill:
sabunim5 :spyder:

if this hapens a lot why dont they do a recall on the parts so we all dont get stuck in the same holding pattion and have to what days befor we can go rideing and going nuts lol BRP please HELP US ALL

Sorry to hear that Randy. I feel your pain. When I first got my bike I had it a week than the dealer had it for like 3 or 4 weeks. Needless to say I was miserable without my spyder.

i wonder if they jacked it up or just tried to adjust the shock with the wheels on the ground. i remember reading a post about shock adjustments. :hun: "to jack or not to jack"

A week before I took it in. I ask the service mgr about the front shock adjustment. He said it didn't have to be jacked up for the front. When he called me about it breaking, I ask hime if it was jacked up. He said it was. The part maybe in tomorrow or Tues. (They are closed Sun & Mon). Even if it is fixed Tues. I can't pick it up till Friday, because of my work schedule. This sucks because I was planning on riding the Sea Doo most of the day Friday. Well I'm just gonna let rough end drag and slack end slide.
