There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
I transport a Tent Cot, camping gear, cooler, and Helen Twowheel waterproof bags. The trailer runs on the center of the tire that is only about a half inch wide and of the several bikes that have towed this trailer, the mileage hasn't been any different than not towing. It did a four corners trip and has gone to Colorado twice. If necessary, it can be rolled into a motel room or flipped up behind the Spyder to lessen it's overall footprint in a motel parking lot. The red bottle is a cookstove fuel container. Behind a 04 BMW GS, regular trailer lights caused problems so I converted to LED and they worked fine then and with the Spyder. The hookup and (aluminum)trailer are my designs but the wheel assembly was purchased from a uni trailer maker in Mississippi. I can honestly say that you don't know it is behind the bike. As a joke, I even transported golf clubs.
