• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

spyder stuck in the snow!

The girls wanted me to pull a sled with the spyder an i told them they would have to push me back in if i got stuck. Well they pushed lol 8-10 inches was to much:yikes: but it was fun.

Man I spin if the grass is wet in my backyard, so I can just imagine in the snow! I have about 3 feet in my yard now, so no worries of moving the spyder out of it's winter resting spot!

Great day..!!

Looks like a great day (except for the snow..) might give it a day or two to go AWAY ....!!

I had read about others riding in the snow, so I thought, "Why not?" There was about 4 inches of soft, wet snow in front of my garage, and I backed out into it. I got about 6 feet and the rear tire started spinning. Thought I was not going to get back in. Waiting for the driveway to clear.

We had to do a little brushing off and pushing to load ours into the trailer last fall in Alberta. It's much nicer here in Las Vegas.

 Nope... The bike means just a bit too much to me to try that...
Start that rear tire spinning... let is catch some sudden traction and tear teeth off of the belt... :yikes:

Must be fun, I'd put a studded tires if I want to play in the snow. I'll install hydraulic shocks with button to raise and lower my:spyder2: and raise the ground clearance.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I have also found the :spyder2: does not like snow, soft gravel, or ice. I made a $500 mistake last spring (tow and new belt). Not intending to do that this year.

They just don't like low-traction situations...
I tend to describe vehicles in this category as:
"They could get stuck on a dog turd in a parking lot! " :gaah:
