• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder still stuck in storage

It has been a long winter, lots of snow and now rain. Over winter I store my Spyder at my my brother in laws acreage. It is on a gravel road. The road has been nearly impassable to Most vehicles, due to the wet conditions. It dries up a bit and then it rains more, before it firms up decently. They have a 4 wheel drive pick up and they drag bottom going through the soft spots. Hope it dries up soon so the Spyder can come home for the summer.

Hang in there! Hopefully the rain stops soon, so you can get your spyder home for the summer.

We have had a very spring here in the north east. The temps in the 50's & 60's lows in the 40's ( tonight they are forecasting snow in the higher elevations.:gaah:.
I have only taken ride on my spyder once since I took out of hibernation.

Thought about the trailer. But they had a riding lawn mower delivered, pulled behind a 4WD pickup and they nearly got stuck on the road.

This isn’t helpful but I’m going to suggest a new storage space next year.

This is the first time it has been this bad in the 25 plus years we have been storing our boat and various bikes there over the winter. Has been a crazy winter/spring with snow, rain and cold. Hopefully next weekend it will be dry enough to get it. Either ride it home or trailer it.

We finally got rid of our snow this past week. Changed the oil and ready to go! To bad the winter was so long, that now the yard work needs to be done. Seems we only have two seasons lately, winter and summer! Hope you get it out soon. :doorag:

I was upset that it as partly cloudy today....and high was only 70. Usually this time of year sun wall to wall! (Oceanside CA.) I know what an
$%^hole! The last time I rode anything 2 or 3 wheels in the rain was about 10 years ago!

Bummer.....

Hope it end soon though it does not sound like ryding weather anyway...be safe and good luck..

I hope you can soon free your Sypder from "prison." It is frustrating when the weather is fine and the Sypder is not ready for use.

There's only one thing left: chains and runners:

I still have snow on the lawn, and it is wet .Weather is to be nice for a few days ,will get out for a ride. The may long weekend is this weekend coming ,this means pickerel season ,and the bush roads are still plugged with snow .Global warming ,not here, this has been the most snow and the longest winter i can remember .

I hope the weather gets better out there soon as my wife and I will be coming through Ohio in less then two weeks on our Coast to Coast ride. Hope you get your bike out safely.

I feel your pain... we've had about one good ryding day here. Mother Nature can't make up her mind whether it's summer or winter; spring seems to be out of the question. Rain all week and maybe more snow up in the Sierras!
