Great description of the benefits from Peter, above. I sent my ECU off to Jase at ECU Xtreme here in Oz, with the prime requirement being a crisper throttle response and to remove any “bogging down” if I am a gear higher(lower?) than I should be. Jase upgraded it to a stage 2 tune, but kept the rev limiter lower than the normal stage 2 limit. I’m not a hoon like Aawen
hyea: . I have not had to make any mods to air, exhaust or anything else, and it performs like a dream. Unfortunately, I should have asked why he went to stage 2, rather than 1, but I didn’t. If I do go ahead with an upgrade in the next couple of months, I’ll be getting Jase to mod the ECU on either my new 20 F3 of RT as my second mod (comfortable, longer seat and highway pegs first).
