• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

spyder ST headlights

Not sure..!!

but would imagine it is no different that the RS..if you go to cheapcycleparts.com you can look in the parts pages and see the parts involved. If you have a shop manual you will see it there too...good luck hope it is easier...

I have

Hi I have been into the headlights. Put in new higher output bulbs to help me out at night. The first time was a little difficult but after the first time it was easier. They do have rubber caps over the bulbs and it is a little difficult to get them out. They have wire clips not the ones you referenced. Hope this helps.
Has anyone dug into the headlights on their spyder ST?
Do they have those dumb clips similar to this: http://www.hidspeed.com/H7-light-bulb-metal-clips-one-pair-p/acc-adapterclips-h7.htm

Is there a rubber dust cap covering the backside of the bulb?
Anyone have pictures of them?

Im kicking around the idea of putting HID in but don't want to fight all the crap I dealt with on my RS

Yes it does. Thank you!

IIRC the owners manual calls for removal of the instrument cluster to access the headlight bulbs. Comes out pretty easy, not a big deal.
