• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder ST Headlight Assembly

My friend just purchased a used ST S SE5 - he works nights and is looking to replace the headlights with HID's or with a brighter bulb. Has anyone done this? what did you purchase/Install?

Heis pretty mechnical but he is having a hardtime figuring out how to get to the headlight assembly. There does not seem to be any instructions out there for the ST.

Does anyone out there have any input?

I believe you need to remove the instrument cluster.

yes that is what he thought too. Got the panel loose but could not get it out. His is afraid of damaging something. Anyone know how to remove the ST instrument cluster?

Little checking..!!

do you have the owners manual..?? They explain how to change the bulbs there. That will get you in. Our sponsors have hid's and brp does as well. You do have optional lighting you can add..20140509_133419.jpg I added driving and fogs for added lighting...good luck..!!

I would strongly recommend the HID lights. I have not done anything to my ST yet but IMHO it's not worth messing with if you don't go HID. BRP does not offer a kit for the ST. In not any help on how to remove the pod on the ST but if you're gonna dig into it you'll have to take the whole top pod off
