• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I read often that many of you refer to the Spyder shop manual.
Can anyone please tell me where I can purchase the manual for a 2012 RT Limited SE5

I have read the previous posts to your question and I had just ordered the manual for the 2012 RT ES5, some 700 odd pages for the wonderful sum of $ 175. I had went for the Greens Manual on line for like 25 bucks, but it wasn't for my year (2012) and I hate looking through a disk for answers. ( I guess I'm one of those old dinosaurs who refer hands on books and flip through the pages) The dealer will call when the book arrives. (sometime next week, will keep you abreast)

My dealer charged me $220, but still worth the price IMO.
 
same manual?

Is the 2011 & 2012 The same. I was under the impression that BRP published the same manual for both years.:dontknow:
 
I bought the DVD manual from eBay for 20-something bucks. I haven't needed it for anything major, yet, but when I referred to it for how to remove the seat so I could install the Ultimate, there was nothing in there. We got better info from a search on this forum. I was also disappointed that I couldn't print it. Tough I understand the copyright concerns, it would be nice to have the book with you in the garage.

Thanks, please do let us know what you think, I'm anxious to know your opinion. With this you can print the pages that you need and not worry about getting them oily in the garage, just throw them away and reprint if you need them.

Thanks for the link. I am new to the spyder world and plan on doing maintenance and repairs myself. If this manual is everything it appears to be it will be a god-send.

I broke down and got the manual. I think it is going to be good. You can search for key words or go directly to the section you want from the index. Seems well worth the money and more practical than a hard copy, my opinion.
