Spyder Ryders (RT & GS) take a Ride to RYDE

Ryde, CA that is... Us on our GS and our newest Spyder buddy Rich and his wife Dede on their new RT were out all day yesterday on a very impromptu ride to RYDE. I was litterally out of bed 10 minutes on Sunday morning when I got the message that we were going on an outing... and the weather was FANTASTIC (which is more than I can say for today... YUCK!).

We were out for about 6 hours and only rode about 90 miles. We rode CA highway 160 north and visited the Sacramento river towns of Isleton, Ryde, and had a very nice lunch in Walnut Grove at the Pizza Factory (very yummy pizza). It took us almost a 1/2 hour to get into the place because we were stopped by two couples that saw us pull up. I am certain we sold a Spyder (or two) yesterday.

Anyway, it was a great ride and a lot of fun!

Makes for a good Colts-themed Spyder.

What's funny about yesterday is that we just met this couple about a month ago, but we've ridden with them three times (including yesterday) and we spent all day with them yesterday.

We ate lunch and dinner together. We left our house at 10AM and didn't get home until almost 9PM... and they just live 15 minutes away. It was just a great day. I got nothing else done.
