• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Ryders in Ocala, Florida area?

I see quite a few Spyders in my general area. I enjoy ryding with my husband and my dad, and they both have Harley's. I don't care what brand/model etc...of bike a person has, but I wish I could meet a few people to ryde with that have Spyders.

We are not retired, so time is somewhat limited. Anyways, just wondering if there are any others nearby in the Marion county or nearby areas that want to ryde. :helpsmilie: :spyder:

Somehow I thought this was asked a couple years ago and maybe recall hearing there is a group in the villages and then others that do live in the local area.

If you send me a PM with your email, I can forward you some info of a couple I met recently from that area. This couple is into Spyders. They will know.

There is a group in the Villages. They want people 55+.

I see so many near me in Ocala, so hoping maybe they are members here.

I'm moving to Leesburg in a few weeks. Just wraping up some loose ends in NY. Under 55 but still retired.

I like your ryde!

When end you get down here, maybe we can meet up and ryde. I am also in a meetup group called "Ocala Riders", so you may want to look into that on meetup.com. I haven't been able to ride with them due to work/schedule conflicts. They go on lots of long rides.

I used to live in The Villages. Just an FYI, it is a great club ( I used to lead a lot of rides) but it is a Villages Club and you must live in The Villages to belong. I live in Deland and lead a group but that's an hour and a half from you so that won't help.

Seminole Power Sports in Sanford has a new group of Spyder Riders that has started over the last couple months. They had a ride this weekend with 30 people. They ride once a month but I think this is a long way fro you to travel to meet up with them.

Good luck in your search.

Thanks, Bob.

I am really hoping/searching for people in the 30 minute range from my area. This way, we can meet up and then ryde together. I have limited time to ryde and don't want to spend the limited time just getting to a meet up spot.

I work in the Villages, so it's not my desire to spend additional time there! :sour:
