• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

spyder rt stock seat

a few weeks ago my wife sat on a new rt spyder. she only sat on it a few minutes and had to get off told me her back started to hurt. we have a friend who let her set on his spyder rt with a corbon seat and back rest. she sat on it for at least 10 minutes or more and her back felt good. so it must be the stock seat on the spyder. so that was good. if i bought a spyder first thing i would have to is change out the seat for sure.

It's good to know going in. Now, you just have to negotiate a little harder to offset the cost of the seat. ;)

Seats are such a "personal preference" item, that it's tough for any manufacturer to get them right for everyone. nojoke
There's a bunch of really good aftermarket seats available. With some research on your part; you should have a pair of "Happy Fannies", in no time! :D

as long as youre on the subject, is the only thing different on the
comfort seat[fact] that is 2 inches deeper and a little taller for the
driver. any more cush or comfyness. i have a rather, uh hmm, wide
posterior. thanks for any help.--irv toms:D

While I don't disagree and have gone the Ultimate seat route myself, I think a backrest alone makes a HUGE difference. You may want to have her try a stock seat with backrest to see how she feels before investing in an aftermarket seat if budget is an issue.

I put the brp back rest on the stock seat and it still sucked. Was better but on a long ride just to hard on the butt.Went the Ultamate route and very pleased but Exspensive. You need to find what's best for your wife but problem is you need a long ride on any seat to find out if it,s for you.

I bought a corbin after about 6, 000 miles on stock. I should have changedit out sooner.
