Spyder RT Recalls

I just got a call from a dealer that both of my 2014 RTs have recalls. The Limited has a key recall for notches to be filed down and the RT-S has a gas cap recall.
I entered the VINs on both on the BRP site but nothing shows up.
Has anyone else heard of these recalls?

The recall check on the BRP web site is, to my knowledge, for safety recalls and that's why neither of the ones you reported show in that web site feature. There is a list of ignition keys that are the subject of a recall somewhere here on SL. I learned of it before I picked up my Spyder and my keys were not listed. The little tags that came with your Spyder keys have the number on them.

The dealership may have been saying "Recall"; when they meant to say "Technical Service Bulletin".
The TSBs don't show up on BRP's website, when you punch in the VINs..

Prior to taking delivery of my '14 RTL (Oct, 2014) the ignition was switched out. We've not been contacted on my wife's '14 RTS. Will have to look into this.

Yes these two are not "recalls"....
They are TSB with a high enough level to have the dealer contact you to get it fixed rather wait until your next service.
My understanding is it is optional for the dealer to call to have you come in. Not all of them do it.

Mi dealer in Québec Chage 2 times mi ignition Module an the probleme still ther i see every day that picture an i remove key sevrel time an its start.

They said some of the keys were getting stuck in the ignition and could not be removed. Fix was to grind some notches down on the key. :dontknow:
