• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder RT Parking Brake Spring Replacement 2011-09

Odd that this applies only to 2011 Spyders. Lots of 2010 owners have had the problem. My Spyder is in the shop now for a new throttle body. Guess I'll have to take it in again for this one. Meanwhile, I keep my Torx driver handy and keep the cable lubed to minimize occurance.

I'm not sure why they didn't include the 2010 either as they were the first one to have this issue.

I will tell you that my bracket fix does not fix the cable slack. I had to adjust the slack out of the cable twice on this trip so you guys need to keep on that too.

I just had my parking brake spring replaced as per 2011-9. The Dealer was pretty sure it was covered under warranty. I haven't paid anything yet.
