There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Spyder RT - Custom Rear Fender

Has anyone purchased this rear fender for their RT or know anything about it? I'd like to get an idea for how difficult it was to install as they indicate that there is some fitting and prep work required prior to painting.

I truly dislike the stock black fender and really think that this custom fender would look great painted. Since it needs to be painted, I'm thinking the price is a little steep.

Interesting... but it doesn't go down nearly far enough to actually block anything... people following you night not be too happy without something else there to block water/dirt/rocks.

I don't like the look myself, but that's why they make Chocolate and Vanilla....Are there different custom rear fenders out there? Good Luck!

Custom painted rear fender when entire bike was painted. Bike originally Pure Magnesium.

No problems at all with cracking, etc on the paint job. Had true pro paint it toughest part was disassembly and reassembly. Had the Bushtec trailer painted to match.

I too did not like the black rear fender on my 2012 rtl. white. Had it painted white and looks great. That was two years ago and no cracks, pealing, etc.

I did my rear fender with 3 Layers of Black Plasti Dip and One coat of Metalizer silver. Holds up well so far!

That is all great to hear. That will be next winter's project to get the OEM fender off and paint it red. Thanks for the feedback.

Great color choice. I really love it.

The best part about the paint color (other than being my favorite color), is the name of the color - Oh So Sexy!
