• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder RS-S passenger factory backrest installation instructions

I will be purchasing the passenger back-rest this weekend and I was wondering if anyone has the installation instructions PDF file or something similar?
Not sure if the instructions will come with the package, so I thought is probably better to ask here, just in case.
Thanks!

Depends...

Don't see the year. Should be all the same for GS, RS and RSS thru 2012. If no one has them I can see if I can find mine. Also check BRP site for installation instructions. Hope it comes with the instructions if it is like mine it's a chore...

Is a 2015 RS-S - I assume the installation is the same for all since I doubt the frame has changed... at least not on the rear-end of the trike.
If you can find it, it will be awesome, if not, thanks for trying! :).

I'm going to pick it up tomorrow so I will find out then if it comes with it or not.

I have seen that video multiple times, but it cuts weirdly and I don't get everything... especially the part with the bracket that goes under the frame... !?

I got the seat and installed it.

Good news... it came with the instructions...
Bad news... instructions are garbage :(... felt more of a FIY rather than anything.
Good news... it was fairly easy to figure out, so the thing is on, solid and my son loves it so far :).

Having the confidence of a solid backrest has my Children 14 and 8 loving being on the Spyder compaired to my Ducati

This is the main reason I went for a 3 wheel rather than 2 wheel... "safer...ish" and my kid and wife are more comfortable on it.

Just curious but I have been trying to sell my BRP passenger backrest. 2014 and earlier GS/RS. Mine is like new about half price of new.
