• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Riding On Hold...

I B BETTER RIDE

Well today will surely be a great day for riding here in EAST TN. With 73 degree for cast. Also today I get the pleasure of celebrating my birthday, 60 years around the sun. But it was my misadventure last Sunday that will keep me from riding. A short walk in the park with my wife and 4 year old grandson ended abruptly when I stepped on the edge of an asphalt walkway and rolled my left ankle. So no riding for several weeks.
Everyone that can, have a great ride. Dennis

Ladder kicked out from under me as I was getting off roof. Landed face first on the front deck. Did take spyder up and down the driveway yesterday though!

The two of you should plan a celebratory ride and meet somewhere in the middle once you're both on the mend.

We'll be expecting progress reports from both of ya.

And guys, no more walks in the park or reaching for high places for a while. Okay!

I can certainly feel the pain. I had knee replacement 2 weeks ago, wont be riding for a while . Great weather her in Az, mid 50's today. Get well soon

So with spring right around the corner, when does it get unbearable hot? Hope you're out enjoying your ride before that happens. Dennis

Wow, that happened to me once while building my deck. I rode that ladder straight to the ground. Very sudden trip for sure and quite a jar. Luckily I didn't get injured. I really had no business working on that deck at the time I was between surgeries and had a colostomy. When you're young, you think you can do everything!

And how

We must be related!:roflblack:

Mine on hold too

I have the same set up as you. I was working on my spyder changing front tires and wouldn't you know it I slipped on the mud in the yard and fell and felt a pop in my left ankle. Yes I broke my fibular. So I know exactly how you feel, yes I have the boot and crutches. Heal quickly my brother

I think it's a conspiracy. Some evil entity is taking out Spyder riders! [emoji50]

Back in the saddle again!!!

Well a few weeks ago I graduated from the boot to an ankle brace that I wear with my shoe.
Last week I decided that I could probably shift so I'm back on the road.
While I'm able to shift comfortably, my foot does get pretty tired walking, hopefully that will pass
as it gets stronger.
