Spyder Ride, Central Arkansas, October 22, 2011

Greetings Spyder Riders.

Another Spyder ride is scheduled for October 22, 2011 for any Spyder rider but especially those in Central Arkansas. This ride will be a little longer than the first ride.

When: October 22, 2011, 10 AM in Hot Springs

Where: Bradford Marine in Hot Springs
2925 Albert Pike (Hwy 270 Just West of the loop)
Hot Springs, AR

Details: We will leave the dealership at 10 AM. Please have your Spyders full of fuel and ready to ride.

Spyderpops will be leading the ride to Mena through some of the most beautiful roads in the state. Especially since the leaves should be turning.

We will have lunch at the lodge on top of the mountain at Queen Wilhelmina state park which will offer spectacular views.

After lunch, we will return via an alternate route.

Is Queen Wilhelmina still open, I thought they were closing for renovations?

Queen Wilhelmina is NOT closed. The lodge is full for the weekend. The restaurant is open and will probably have their world famous buffet open. If not, we can order off the menu.

I'm thinking about maybe coming down based on weather forecast. It's three hours at least to get to Hot springs so would be about a 14 to 16 hour ride day if I do. Would love to see everyone and I have never been in that part of they state.

Sounds like fun, Leslie, but I'll miss getting the chance to ride with you!! Glad it's going to warm up just a bit by the weekend. Perfect camping weather!:clap:

Looking forward to seeing you again, the ride is looking better everyday. We will even have an 82 year old riding with us, Earnie will be riding his RT! It will be a lot of fun for everyone!

It will be worth the ride, I just rode to Daytona for a Prime Rib sandwich, you just have to make it!

Leaving for Hot Springs

Howdy everyone,

W D 40 and I will be leaving Jacksonville for Hot Springs on Saturday morning at 8 AM. Will be meeting at the Chili's in Jacksonville. Anyone that wants to join us is welcome. If not, we will meet you in Hot Springs.

The weather is looking good and should be a great day. Looking forward to seeing everyone....especially those that haven't ridden with us before.

What a great ride we had and was impressed with 13 bikes! I also belong to a goldwing group and cant put that many together,go spyders!

Looking forward to the next one and I`m sure it will be perfect weather.
