There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. We just picked up 2 Spyders last week and wow how jaws drop when they see you coming down the street. I'll have to say, these things take a little getting use to... but each ride it gets better and better!!!! My wife, Andrea, is really liking them... she thinks the Silver handles better than the Yellow one... I gotta check the air pressure ::)

2 Spyders for rent in Denver at www.go2wheels.com If anyone is coming this way and wants to ride the Rockies on 2 or 3 wheels.... check us out! We have one Silver and one Yellow to start.

I think we might have to try to get the www.go3wheels.com domain????

These are sooooo much fun I don't know if we'll be renting them much. We might have to play with them ourselves!!!!

Hey, George.... we keep buying the same bikes. I looked at the Spyder last Friday and will probably buy. Now, which one of the others will I keep? Decisions, decisions.

One Spyder gets enough attention on its own. But we also have two and boy you are right, jaws do drop. It is fun. bjt posted in another thread about meeting up with another couple that had a Spyder and going for a ride. Now we had three of them and that was great. For a while I was in the back and you could watch people when they saw the first one, then it was priceless when the second one goes rolling by and then I just pulled up and smiled and waved. What great reactions. We had three different colors too and that was nice. Lots of great looks and remarks. Have fun on your Spyders and be safe.

The rental idea is GREAT !!!

My Dealer ( Leaders Marine in Kalamazoo) said they were thinking of also doing rentals of their demo units.... for people that want to take them to lake Michigan, Grand Haven, South Haven, etc.....

Great idea... and a great sales tool!

Yes, great sales tool. that's how I got the idea... I rented an 02 Gold Wing once and had to run to the dealer to buy one the next week. We'll see how it goes...????

It will do great Bro. I've been there many times and I can run it faster with the trailer on than I can without. The one thing I've learned after 8,000 miles is not to over steer the Spyder, that will kick in the VSS every time.

GnA (George) was the outfit we rented from (twice!) - here's his site. http://rentaspyder.info He's the local Spyder meetup organizer too.

Here's another outfit http://www.tourbikes.com/bikes.html

I've tried both of these links but they don't appear to be working any more... anyone know if there might still be a place to rent a Spyder in Denver? I found this place but have not had any response via email or to a voicemail I've left: http://spyder-rentals.com/

My husband and I are wanting to go to the Owners Event in Durango, we would fly from Pittsburgh, PA and fly into Denver. Do you have any information on Spyder rentals?

The original date on this post is from 2008. Have not heard anything this season from our :spyder2: rental friends. If they are reading SL threads maybe they will let us know the status of the business.

They are still listed as a site sponsor on the home page.
