• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Pops BeltGuard - how does it work?

After discovering a rock embedded in my VERY expensive drive belt on my 2015 RT-S Special Series I am wondering about the SpyderPops "Belt Guard for 2014 and up RT models". If I understand from the instructions posted it just sticky-tapes to the bottom of the swing arm of the bike. How does it improve protection over and above the stock one that is already there?

As I see it...

It is an additional shield to keep rocks and debris from getting between the belt and sproket. There is a gap on the back side between the rear wheel and the shock mount....

Kansas Rural roads---you betcha it works!!!!

This is my second Spyder with the Spyderpop's Missing Belt-Guard and YES it works!!!! I hear more gravel being picked up by tires then ever getting ground by the belt. I had heard this a couple of times on my first Spyder before I put the belt-guard on it.

I drive 1.5 miles on gravel to ryde my 2015 RT-Limited and even though I go slow I still pick up things but that Rock Guard does it's work!

I am very pleased with it.

The stock guard provides protection on the left side of the belt, the Spyder Pops missing belt guards provides added protection to the right side.

Cheap insurance from my point of view.

I live on a dead end dirt road off of a dirt road, it works!
