• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

With all the spyder owners out there... I'm "the" Spyderman. Flo and I have been friends for a couple of years. Her brother and I work at the same dealership, ride in the same club, and are very proud of her. I'm the one who started the $10 a state fundraiser for her ride in support of cancer research in memory of a motorcycle instructor (Rod Wiseman) who passed a way last year.

I never got to ride the Conga but let me tell ya - reading her blog - I WAS ADDICTED - this woman did something not many people get to do - ride the country with all these cool people and for a great cause. She is AMAZING. I finally posted to her and told her I don't post much but I just had to say that she is AWESOME. That is so cool !

Well, I think there was a "few of us" riding her backseat from Florida. Reading her posts and blog was like following the Desert Storm 1st few days, totaly gripping. I know her, so I was more amazed at folks like you and the others who followed her trip. She's very special, but the people who followed the trip, those who participated, those who rode with her are just as special because without these people, Flo would have just been some woman who bought a bike and rode it home alone.
Also, when I hooked up with her on my Spyder, the rain was the worst I've ever ridden in and yet the Spyder made me feel extremely secure. No issues with hydroplanning. How are you enjoying yours?

I love it but only rode it last week. We got some nasty heat and humidity this week so I stayed in the A/C plus work sucked and by the time I got home all I wanted was a freaking cocktail.

I plan on doing some riding tomorrow - rains came and it cooled things off a little bit. This hot weather is too early for Ct!

I want to get the Kewlmetal exhaust when it comes out - I want this to be a little louder. Too quiet for me. But boy it sure can move and yes, I feel safer on it than I did /w the Harley. And I don't have to polish any more chrome - I won't miss that LOL! I loved my Harley but hated to wash it and polish it - took too long and I had no patience.

I think the Hindle or the Micron is a little louder. I bet the Kewlmetal exhaust is a LOT louder. ;D
