• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On my SM5, I average about 30. I'm not sure if the SE5 would be the same or not but it can't be off by more than a few MPG. I think that all the reports of Spyder MPG would average out to 30 - 35 MPG.

Having a Spyder is like owning a boat. If you have to worry about how much gas it drinks, maybe you shouldn't be considering one. IMHO

Around town i get 30mpg on hwy i get about 37mpg

I only got about 25mpg average during the first 1000 miles then it improved to the above.

I was getting around 26mpg for some time...

I think as the bike breaks in, the mileage gets better...I am now seeing about 30mpg, depending on riding style.

It's harder to determine now as it's too cold to ride...I do turn the bike on for about 10-15 minutes each week just to keep the juices flowing...also, I use a battery tender so that it'll start...
