With many Spyder owners doing their own work and the recent discussions about keeping records I thought I would share the spreadsheet that I use to record my service records. This spreadsheet is laid out like the service manual with service intervals in the columns and each service needed in the rows. I just add a new row as I complete a new service item and note where I got the parts from, etc. This worksheet was made for the RT with the SE5, you can add your own SM5 service items as needed. I keep copies of all my receipts in a 3-ring folder for future reference.
The far right column is used to note what services are needed at this time. I included the instructions on how to extract the work needed to a table at the end of the worksheet. I did not put this into a MACRO for security reasons but if you know how to write a MACRO feel free to do it to save time. The instructions are for Excel 2010.
I print this worksheet out and take it to the dealer when I have them do the service. This insures they know what I want done. This does not guaranty that it will get done but I can compare my list to their final work order to see what got skipped.
If you would like a copy please send me a PM with your email address.
