• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

spyder lowering kit?

You can look into the air ride system that Kewl Metal sells. That will drop the Spyder pretty low, but it is not recommended to ryde with it fully lowered.

Personally I'd start getting concerned about speed bumps and potholes if these critters had their bellies any lower in the weeds... :spyder:

Think about the belt tension as well. As you lower it the belt should become a whole lot tighter than it is in the stock position.

ok ,we will forget about that.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to talk you out of it. I just wanted to make sure you considered everything before trying to do it. I know XXX74 has the Kewl Metal air suspension on his Spyder. He lowers it at shows, but rydes with it in the raised position. So, it can definitely be done though probably not lowered all the time.
