• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. My 2011 RT is leaking gas from the little rubber hose underneath it. Anyone know what is wrong with it? Anyone had this issue before?

Believe it or not, the Spyder is designed that way- Its from the Evap. Canister

This is from the REPAIR MANUAL:

So, does that mean it is normal? It is kinda scary...... It was 102 degrees here today, this was the first time doing it. I'm hoping someone will have an easy solution for me cause the dealer told me they wont look at it until the end of next week. And the other dealer said 3-4 weeks!!!!! Crazy!!! Don't want to be without it until next month........

Do a search for fuel vapors, smells, etc

Lots of info on these pages, I'll not repeat too much. Bottom line is mine still leaks, smells and fumes when ever it wants to after 5 months of dealer attention and reluctant BRP help. Canister is gone, ran line to the back of my RT to keep stuff away from the Cat converter. Dripped today and it was only about 90 at 2 PM when I shut it down. Started in Feb in the 40s and 50s. Some do it and evidently most don't - go figure. I run a big fan 24 hours in the garage to keep the smell down and blow most of it out before shutting the doors.:banghead:. I don't fill the tank all the way and don't let it normally get too low.

My 08 never leaked/dripped, And i always filled the gas tank to the tenth degree.
But my Spyder was abnormal,
The ones that leak/drip are normal.:ohyea:

Thank you all for the replies. I guess it's normal from what I read. Been searching for detailed instructions for the canisterectomy.......but not much success. Anyone has a link on how to do it? Thanks again. I just loved the way dealers are ignorant...... just can't believe they haven't heard from this issue before today and I spoke with 2 of these clowns.
