Spyder key needs a web or keychain

Has anyone found a way to secure their key? This is a different looking key but has no hole in it. I don't want to drill a hole in it because it's coded. I don't want to loose it either and come out and see my spyder going down the street.:dontknow:

I have had no problems for 2 years with my key in the plastic sheath provided with it. I just click it in when I get off the bike, and its there waiting for me when I get back on.
I have that and a small garage door opener on a tether around my neck.:2thumbs:

I'm glad to here that works for you. I thought a out using it but I carry soo many keys, I didn't what it to get hung up and pull out. I just might try it on a seperate key chain and see how it works. Thanks.:2thumbs:

I agree that the sheath works best. I also recommend against operating the Spyder with a bunch of extra keys hanging from a keyring in the ignition...scratches up the console.

I've got the sheath attached to the ring inside my jacket. For those times I lock the jacket in the runk, I just put the key in my pocket. I haven't found it to be a problem.

I keep one attached inside my Can-am Jackets there is a place (this is my extra key), the other one is to all my keys
but I can remove it if I go into a store or someplace and leave the rest in the locked center console.

The BRP engineers put better thought into it than what I have seen others come up with. There is a thread if you do a
search where some one x ray ed the key so you won't drill into it and wreck the code.

this key will not become dislodged unless you pull it.

maybe if we ask real nicely MM can come up with a micro chop we have inserted just under our skin so we don't have to insert a key:roflblack:
