• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm with State Farm. :congrats: :welcome:

I have one more question regarding insurance?

is it a motorcycle policy or is there a seperate class for the spyder.
thanks, SPYMAN

try progressive.
Make sure to contact Foremost. They are the preferred providers for Harley Davidson, and will insure almost anything; bike, trike, etc. NOTE: if you are or spouse is 50 or over, Foremost is the also the provider for AARP, check with them.

I shopped extensively for mine: Progressive, Foremost, AAA, Farmers, State Farm, AARP, and more. I found I got the absolute best rates from this company:

http://www.bikersins.com/

Talked to Marc Fischer, he was very helpful. Worked out well for me and a lot of other Spyder owners I've encountered online.

Hope this helps.

I'm in Delaware and here the spyder isn't considered a motorcycle and I also don't need a trike endorsement..... I just need my regular car drivers license to ride it....

Has anyone on here tried to insure one in Delaware yet? If so, who did you use and what kind of rate did you get?

I'm about 2 months away from getting mine and there's never a better time than the present to start ins. shopping right?

If it was registered as a vehicle here and not a MC you wouldn't be required to wear a helmet but you would be required to wear seat belts. ::)

Hey one2doo what state are you in? Allstate told me and even gave an est sheet sheet. Called today to tell them I had it and they said they couldn't insure it now.

We contacted CA Allstate earlier this year, they also stated that they would not insure the Spyder.
