Cindy & I, are scheduled to go. (Lord willin and the creek don't rise). We won't be staying at the lodge. (heard too many criticisms). Hopefully we'll find a place somewhere close by.

Perfect storm of events that weekend for us.

1 Tandem Mountain bike event in Allegrippis PA we have signed up for.

2 Tandem road bicycle event in Ocala FL

3 Spyder event at Fontana Village

Still undecided, guessing the MTB we will need to drop since the wifes back has been bothering her.

Tandem road bike event is close at 3 hours away and has always been fun every year.

We love Fontana and have been there many times(not Spyder events). If we lean towards going, and the wife did call about it, I suspect I need to buy / build a trailer for gear and to bring one bicycle too.

Time will tell.

The park has many scooter riders, the owners encourage weekend campers. The park is an hour from Deals Gap and shorter to Fontana, let know the dates and if the moon and the sun line up a bunch of us could ride over and meet up. Thanks Kennard

My wife and I are going. Still debating whether to trailer down from Northern VA with the toy hauler and do the RV thing or maybe tent camping. I just picked up a 2015 RTS (traded in my 2010 RS and my Goldwing) This would be my first Spyder event.

I would like to make this event. We normally go up around Boone in the Fall, and do the Maggie Valley area in the spring/early summer. If I can convince the wife to go, I will be there.
