Wow. What a hornets nest has been stirred up here--- and it wasn't even ME doing it--- ;-)
Sorry for her troubles.
a few thoughts.
I put most the blame on the dealer and I don't get why she would protect the dealer but chew BRP a new one. Seems backwards to me. They cannot legally keep your property. Pick it up and take it elsewhere.
I also don't get why she would ride a loaner if it was doing the same thing.
Then we hear the problem is actually problemS. Lemon laws require specific problems that are not being fixed- not a catch-all for numerous problems.
Then it comes out the dealer hates the spyder. Great. Nothing like someone working on something they hate to make things worse.
Then her riding the brake is being judged by a photo and video-- who is to say she rides like that all the time?
Sounds to me this could be a dealer prep problem just as well as a rider problem- and we are not really clear as to whether the loaner was having the EXACT same problems as the original spyder.
Unfortunate situation where an owner must be on the offense if they want things fixed. I would have yanked it from that dealer after a month.
Hope it gets resolved!
