• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder House Call

Only a 50% chance of rain tomorrow. Not too bad for a road trip. Wish I could have found a larger windscreen today, but the dealers here were out. Gonna be windy with the stock one.

Yes windy......I am not a member of the Iron Butt Association. If you are going to hang with Docdoru and the like you better put on a cathedar sp? that drains into your saddle bags in case you have to pee....

Now I am at mcdonalds waiting for Docdoru, and Effgjamis to get here. So far no rain but I somehow got the feeling that's not gonna last. It 9:50 am should be seeing them soon! I got the spyder itching for a ryde since it been a week due to florida famous week long rain, felt like 40 days and 40 nights. I actually thought I was going to have to sell my spyder to get a sea-doo the way it was raining.

WOO-HOO, all the way there and back and......NO RAIN.
It was my maiden ride to break the Spyder in and it was a blast. 548 miles round trip, but now I need my 600 mile service...LOL

Met up with Doc at 6am, after riding the Busa till 2am and off we went. I have to admit I am dragging today, but it was great to meet other Spyder people and see some more mods. Thanks again for the invite...Dave

Here's the link. Unfortunately the resolution got lost during resize. Tim and Christie we missed you. Met some new folks too. I have to say the mods make a HUGE difference and I LOVE them......and many, many thanks to the great Spyder team for bringing their expertise from all over. Made some lasting friendships for sure.:2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs::thumbup::thumbup:

Haven't slept yet....are you crazy.:yikes: I guess those energy drinks do work. We stayed on the bike's after Carabba's until about midnight. Beautiful cool evening for Florida. Then road the bike today around various friends houses to show my mods and then off to Open Road Leathers to get me a rain suit. Getting ready to take her out again. I can't believe what a difference a few well chosen mods would do to customize the bike to the rider. I'm ready for North Carolina. Doc, I just got your cell phone message as I have been on the bike mostly. So glad everyone made it home safe and sound...and dry.:clap::clap::clap::clap:
