I sometimes wonder why some folks use long drawn out or hard to speak names on here ???

I chose mine so that when i meet people it is easy for them to remember my (Handle) name at the same time. (although some wish to forget it quickly :roflblack

We're thinking of changing to a more simple Spyder Handle on this forum!

Question: IF we want to change, do we start a new account or can that be changed somehow and keep all of our threads? In other words, do we kill our current account and start a new one? I would prefer to keep everything and just change the Spyder Handle name.

Years ago when online forums were just getting going, usernames were like nicknames.....I guess sort of an Alter Ego thing or something.....
I had just gotten home from buying some Mobile One "Synthetic" oil from Walmart (at the time synthetic oil was really something).... anyway....I couldn't think of anything super special so I typed in "Synthetic" and probably 20 or 30 forums later.......it's still "Synthetic".....wow wasn't that an exciting story? hehehehehe nope..

When I bought my Spyder, some of my friends started to call me "Spiderman". So when I tried to get "SpydermanSteve" handle and found it was taken, I added an "r" at the end and the handle "SpydermanStever" became mine. :spyder2:
