There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Spyder Fusion Helmet

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum. I have only ridden my spyder twice. Both times with my snowmobile helmet. I'm debating full face. I'd like something that's quiet too. My Hindle pipe that the bike came with bothers me with the snowmobile helmet. I guess time for the ear plugs too. Looking for input if anyone has the Fusion helmet..

Welcome!! This is what I use. It's comfy, quiet and light. It has all of the assets of the BRP "fusion" but at less money.

I don't have an answer to your question. But I'm sure many folks will chime in.

I've been using the Nexx XR1R helmets for 5 years now and love them. Once you get used to the lightweight carbon fiber.. you'll never go back to a heavy helmet. My first one was $700... can't believe I paid that much for a helmet... but I did.
I recently found another one online for $250 and snatched it up quickly.

The 'BRP' one looks nice, etc.... but we know they don't make it themselves, so it can probably be had for less by the OEM.

Not Snell approved?

What's the head shape? Round, oval, intermediate oval, long oval? This is very important for a proper fit! I have a long oval head, which limits me rather severely -- that's why my last three helmets have been Arai Signet Q's, which are very pricey (~ $700). I'd like to find a flip-up modular, but I think I'm outta luck on that.

Have you looked at/tried the Shoei Neotec? I have Intermediate/Long oval as well and it fits great. Awesome helmet.

I've looked at the Neotec. I'm also interested in the J-Cruise, but can't find one to actually look at (I like to physically look over things I'm considering). I also like the Arai CT-Z.

It occurs to me that, if head shape is so important, a savvy helmet maker would make a series of different sized shells (S, M. L, etc.) in a generic shape (e.g., round), then tailor the inner suspension system according to head shape and size. Then, for example, you might buy a large Neotec shell, then purchase the suspension liner that fits your head in either a round, oval, or long-oval shape. You could thus fit a wider range of riders.
