And you got my wish list

Drooling Now, shame on me!!

What am I going to do, Rob a bank? Yup, my own...

That right there is a great looking lid, man.

But carbon fiber is so darn expensive, well I suppose my heads worth it though...

that sounds like one great helmet, now how can i get my wife to buy that for me for my birthday next year?
the one down side, being carbon fiber i would now want to get any graphics put on it & would be very upset
if i scratched it like my current one.

For 700 dollars it better come with a Bluetooth headset!

Actually, that's a pretty reasonable price for a full Carbon Fiber helmet. They are NOT easy to make!

Arai makes one for only $3,995! :yikes: Just a bit out of the $700 range.

Revzilla has some pretty informative videos. Carbon fiber is a tricky medium. This is a review of the Arai carbon fiber, but it is good general info on any carbon fiber helmet.

Does anyone know the manufacturer of this helmet? Any users? I'm trying to determine how quiet it is...

thanks in advance.

The VozTec is cool! But I'll stick with my Lazer modular lid. It has everything that the Fusion boasts
except the Double D fastening even the photochromic shield ! It's less expensive too!

Helmet choice

I'm sorry.
This helmet really doesn't show much of anything unique: especially for the $600 pricetag! :yikes:

I guess helmet choice usually boils down to a personal view of form versus function against price. Ive got about a half dozen helmets kicking around. Some definitely have to be retired. I usually cap out at 2-300 CDN. My latest (a modular) has a lot of features but is very noisy and fairly heavy. It's lived it's life so Ive decided this time to source as light and quiet of a helmet I can find up to about $650 CDN. So far the Shoei GT Air fits the bill.

The Fusion is very light and with a photochromic lens is not "unreasonablely" priced relative to others in the category. Biggest unanswered question is how quiet it is.

Ps I really wanted the Skully with heads up display and rear view camera but at $1700.....

Lazer Kite

Does anyone know the manufacturer of this helmet? Any users? I'm trying to determine how quiet it is...

thanks in advance.

After a lot searching and comparing pictures I've found that the Can Am Fusion helmet is a rebadged Lazer Kite. It appears that Lazer no longer offers this model directly so BRP must have an exclusive offering deal.

Generaly the reviews have been positive all around. Just thought I'd pass this along in case anyone else was looking at this unit.

Cheers

Still Undesided on a helmet... Maybe I should just go with the Fusion

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum. I have only ridden my spyder twice. Both times with my snowmobile helmet. I'm debating full face. I'd like something that's quiet too. My Hindle pipe that the bike came with bothers me with the snowmobile helmet. I guess time for the ear plugs too. Looking for input if anyone has the Fusion helmet..
