• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder...for 1 cent?

I was in Reno this week and visited the Circus circus casino. There is a yellow Spyder next to a bank of 1 cent slot machines. If you get the right 3 combo - the Spydie is yours.
My wife and I each put $20 in the machines and played for over 1 and a 1/2 hours w/ 4 free drinks! At one point my wife had over $78. in credits on her machine - of course we fed it all back....to 0.
We had a good time watching and listening to all the people that were oogling the Spyder....and did'nt have to answer any questions! One guy said " this is one of them new road racing machines I read about - see the speedo, it goes 200mph!"

I've seen that Spyder in one particular episode of that BBC auto program called Top Gear. They had a few negative remarks on the looks of it, but that didn't stop me from wondering what the heck that thing was first time I saw that episode. Finally, saw that recent article on the Spyder in Car and Driver where I finally got its name and ended up researching everything on the Spyder. Still don't have one but aiming to get one this summer hopefully.

Link to the first part of that episode and the 2nd. Spyder appears towards the end of the first and the beginning of second.

Thanks for the video - those guys are pretty funny and very negative. We were sitting at the 2 machines closest to the Spydie. At one point there were 6 people surrounding the bike -- all were experts -- all were wrong. One guy was talking about how it leaned while the tires stayed flat - had to bite my tongue not to correct him

You really see some "characters" in Reno esp. walking the streets.....
