• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

is there a count on the spyder fires, are they complete writeoffs and are they sm5 or se5 ????????????? any ideas >:chat:

As far as the ones posted out here I believe it is at 5. I think there is 1 other that someone posted about out here.

Only one owner took the time to contact the NHTSA. :(

I think the total is 6 - Florida, Texas, Arizona, Illinois, California, Alabama, in that order. We have pictures for all except Illinois. Florida occurred on May 4th. These are only the ones that happened to members of the SpyderLovers forum (Illinois??). There are eyewitness accounts of the Illinois fire, but no pictures. We don't know how many more there might be. BRP is silent on the subject. Unfortunately, only Florida has been reported to the NHTSA. All of the fires seem to have started in the same general area. The cause is unknown. We don't know if any of these were 2009 models.
