Travelled from Hot Springs Ar to Springfield Mo. Checked in at the Super 8 motel. Rode up to Pitbull in the rain to register. Back to the motel, then out to dinner at Lamberts. Rode back to Super 8, pulled into my parking slot and up comes brake failure. I do not have a parking brake. My foot brake works fine. I guess I'll ride to Pitbull in the AM. :banghead:

Sounds like the cable came off the drum. If you feel frisky, remove the right hand body panels and take a look.

I'm thinking about going back home via Hot Springs. If you don't mind, what route did you take to get here (Springfield) and how long did it take.

Hey Chris, it' s roughly 230 miles via 65 south to Hwy 7 into Hot Springs. Better yet, talk to Harvey (SpyderPops).
