• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SPYDER FEST WHO IS NOT GOING?

I would love to go but it is the busy time of the year for me. Plus I am hoping to make it to Maggie Valley in June and a cross country trip to AZ in late Sept.

We also unfortunately cannot attend. It conflicts with an already planned trip. My parents are coming out from Indy in mid-April to visit us and we can't take anymore vacation until July. :(

I'm all for the live video camera deal. :D

Roger,

How long do you figure the trip out would be, if you did go. I am still undecided; I live in Syracuse.

Like rnet said about 18 hours it's like a little over 1000 miles and i know from me to you its about 3 hours. I have done 750 mile in about 15 hours by myself
but things change and i am holding on to hope.

We can not attend...and I'm really bummed!!!we have a district Lions convention...and I have a district postion...It is expected that I will attend....I really want to go to a Spyder event this coming year...we'll see what happens....did get to meet some spyder riders when we met for the Lone Star Rally...that was cool.......

The wife and I won't be able to attend either. This date is reserved for a poker run that we are organizing in our area. The run benefits Camp Hope located in Farmington MO and is a rehab for disabled veterans. I'm sure I'll enjoy looking at all the pictures that come across Spyderlovers.

We'd love to go but won't have any vacation time available and can't afford to just blow off work at this time. Hope everyone who does go has a great time and sends out pictures.

I would like to go but i'am healed up as much as i'am going to be and so i'am trying to find a job, not easy, my old one does not exitist anymore? So i wont have anytime to take off when i find one.:(

,Roger, PM me if you feel OK to, and fill me in on what's going on.
Pat

I Wish ...

If one wanted to avoid freeways, the 'non-Interstate' route from the Baltimore-DC area is out through WV and OH on US 50. So I watched several vids on YouTube that various contributors submitted that they'd cam'd out through windshields or windscreens of their cars or motorcycles of the various vistas and roads one would encounter along the way. What a trip it would be. About 970 miles from my town to Cuba. Comfortably, it's about three days in each direction; plus the time for rydes and events there. So it'd be a good 10-day trip. ... Buh-but ... I've got rydes coming up to Eastern Ohio, "Little Sturgis" in Orleans, MD, Northern PA, and Spyders in the Smokies; also rydes my Blue Knights chapter; and ... and ... *whew*. Maybe next year?

Gordy;
I towed my camper behind my RTS down there last year. There is a campground about 1/4 mile from Cowtown. I didn't camp because the first night they were calling for thunderstorms and I "wimped out". After the first night I just stayed at the motel. The weather, temperaure wise, isn"t bad at all. I don' recall the name of the campground but know that it is listed on the lodging post.
many thanks dont know yet if i can go but will most likely camp if i do.There must be some folks that camp:dontknow:

There's 16 camp sites already reserved at the lady bug rv Park and campground by Spyder family members.
