• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Fairing

That is an intersesting look, not sure if I would go with it or not. I think I would have to see it in person to get a better feel for how it really looks. Maybe we'll get a chance to see one live in Los Angeles in June.

I was wondering who Gillis found to do his chrome on his Spyder for "Homecoming" ... his Spyder still holds TOP PRIZE !!!

I pulled this video off their website..........interesting.

The faring is interesting but the rest of the bike is hideous!

Looks like some pimp mobile........ I'm surprised they didn't try to fit 24" rims with spinners.

Im sure someone out there already has... I think it is kind of cool but not for me. I don't like the cluttered look on the dash.

Diggittt

Don't get me wrong, I actually like the fairing with some simple modifications like a black cross bar on the front and a less rounded windscreen. It's the other tacked on crap that makes the bike look tacky (IMHO).

Its not for me:agree: to much for me and $1,260.00 to much called them and was quated so :agree: not for me maybe someone out there way out there in OZ :roflblack: soory

OK lets get this straight.

OZ as in "wizard of"

OR

OZ as in "land down under".

Just need to know if that was an insult before I set my hit crew of koalas lose! And this from someone who lives in Mashpee!

i saw this Spyder at the bike show here in Montreal...

chrome was to much for me too; but... they can make it in any colour you want to fit any colour scheme...the grill for the right side was nicely done, the rest... not sure.. someone may like it

the fairing was nice.. i was pondering sound systems and a new windshield

but i dropped the idea... the sheild is small and they mount the stereo in the trunk (took up to much space)..decided to go with the CHAD and am waiting for the wireless Cardo

I think their products are innovative and functional. Although I prefer to keep the 'sporty' look of my spyder, those wishing to convert theirs for touring might consider some of these mods.

I also think the chrome has been tastefully done for the most part.
